About crazy-horse leather
What is crazy horse leather?
It is short for a process of leather production and one of high-end leather, made of first layer of cowhide, feeling smooth. It appears discoloration effect when pushed with a hand or drew a line lightly with a hard object, and recovers soon after rubbed gently with fingers.
Features:
1. Vintage characteristics, crazy horse leather (the first layer of cowhide) with irregular scratches and creases, which is not man-made, but generated naturally.
2. Surface spot is accepted, because of the location injured when the cows alive.
3. It is common sense that the color difference is from the different production lots.
4. Placed in ventilation for a few days to eliminate the natural smell from leather.
5. Lightly color fade is normal situation. Because the leather was not chemically treated, but full vegetable oil tanned.
6.By days accumulated, It is getting brighter and darker, both feels better and looks more vintage.
Maintenance:
1. Wipe on the clean cloth some colorless care cleansing cream or leather cleaner, apply a little on the leather surface evenly.
2. Try to keep it far away from oil and water, if not, dry it immediately and place it on a ventilator.
3. The scratches can disappear by wiping with fingers or heating with lighter, also they will disappear automatically and gradually by doing nothing.
